There are a number of exciting programmes and events that are taking place over the next few weeks. We have summarised them here! 


Bar Course Scholarships Q&A – Tuesday 24th October 6-7pm

A panel discussion and Q&A to provide scholarships applicants with a more detailed understanding of our application process, including tips on best practice and advice from panel members and previous scholars about what to expect and how to prepare effectively for each stage.

This event is highly recommended for anyone interested in applying for a scholarship at the Inn.

Pathways to the Bar – Diverse Perspectives – Wednesday 25th October – 6-7pm

An event as part of Black History Month.

Designed to give students interested in pursuing a career at the Bar the opportunity to hear from Members of all seniorities about the pathways to the Bar, perspectives on promoting diversity in the profession, and the support available through the Inn.

This event will be chaired by Mr Justice Pushpinder Saini, speakers of the panel are: Nancy Williams, Rajkiran Barhey, Mek Mesfin and Kwame Sekyere.

BPP Pupillage Fair – Wednesday 15th November 2-5pm

Our National Pupillage Fair is for students who aspire to secure pupillage or other opportunities in Chambers.

Between 2pm and 4pm, you’ll have the opportunity to engage and network with a wide range of chambers, pupils and practising barristers to discover what a career as a barrister is like and ask any questions you might have.

Then from 4pm to 5pm, we’ll be hosting a Q&A panel session where you can gain insight from a panel of barristers on what makes a candidate stand out when applying for pupillage.

A drinks reception for Law Conversion Course Students at Wilberforce Chambers – Thursday 16th November 4:30 – 8:30pm

Barristers at Wilberforce Chambers, the pre-eminent chancery commercial set, share their insights into their working lives.

Wilberforce invites GDL students for drinks and nibbles in Chambers.
